This blog is about Brendan's birth on August 30, 2007. We can now post pictures and do this in order. :)
This was us at the hospital ready to be induced! I ended up having an emergency C-section though, but it all turned out great.
He was 8 lbs 12 oz! The dr STILL talks about how big his noggin' was...37 cm! It was obvious after he was born why we had to do the C-section. :)
This is the first picture of Daddy and B taken together...
Grandma Karen got to meet him right away too! Her second grandson in a week! Whew!
My favorite newborn picture...taken in the hospital when he was one day old. He was SO alert and happy already! (We have a video of him smiling right after he was born.)
He was so TINY! Well...8 lbs 12 oz isn't exactly tiny, but I thought so. He was soooo cuddly. He loved to just ball himself right up against me. I already miss him being that little. :) 
He was so alert and seemed to look right through me. I love this picture. "Hi Mom!"

Lamar was in love already...could barely manage to go to work/leave our side. His little buddy!
On the way home from the hospital...and no worries about the lack of blanket on him! It was over 110 degrees outside...I don't think he was cold! :) We didn't have the padded inserts yet, for the car seat, so a blanket had to do. We've never driven so carefully!

We are SO BLESSED to finally have our little Brendan come join our family. :) We love him so much!!!!
