Brendan fell asleep on Lamar's knee

So this post is two weeks late...sorry. This happened two weeks ago, as I was packing for Baltimore. (I went to Baltimore with the choir and GK.) Lamar sat down to feed Brendan a bottle while I was packing, and all of a sudden we looked down and realized he was ASLEEP on Daddy's knee!!!! SO CUTE! These are all pictures from my cell phone...trying to catch up and post them all. : D

Look how he's got his arm up on Lamar's leg...huggin' on Daddy!
He drools in his sleep like I do! LOL

Lamar picked him up and he stayed asleep. Dad is a big pillow!

Another picture of him sleeping on my bed...he's such an angel. This was his first time sleeping on his tummy....he would NOT let me roll him back onto his back. Nope. Wanted to be ON HIS TUMMY! He's my kid alright. :D

We were cuddling on my bed...he scooted over to me and laid his head down on my hand and stayed there for a good ten minutes cuddling with me. SO CUTE!

This was after a poop explosion during church...I love the look on his face!

Who me?

Dinner and Spamalot!

Lamar and I finally had a night out to ourselves...our second since Brendan was born 8 months ago! We went with a bunch of friends out to eat first...at the Grand Luxe Cafe at the Venetian...Clockwise...Lamar, Dave, Lisa, Tera, Jared, me.

Then we said goodbye to Jared and Tera (They'd just recently seen the show, or they would've come with us) and hello to Taylor Eliason and his awesome parents! We went and saw "Spamalot!"

Where's Taylor and Dave?

We LOVED the show! My friend Aaron was my personal favorite in the show...he was PERFECT as Patsy! He's very funny. My friend Rob Moffat was good too...he's such a great dancer. He and I were in Young Ambassadors together in 2000. Here is the cast list! Randal Keith filled in for the lead and I was perfectly fine with it. I saw him in Les Miserables on Broadway as Val Jean tons of times, when I'd go to see my ex-fiance Kevin in it. He reminds me of Anthony Warlow a bit. I love his voice! : D

After the show we waited for Aaron to give us a backstage tour...

Three other friends from the SUV choir showed up too...Buffie, Sy, and Bryce! They waited for the tour too, since they also know Aaron from SUV.

On the tour we jumped into a can of spam... :D Me, Aaron, Buffie
On our way out of the theater we stopped to take some more picts...Lamar and I...
Dave (my friend who played Christ in "Savior of the World") and his supermodel wife Lisa!
Taylor and his fun parents...

By the time we got home it was 1am and Brendan was asleep on our babysitter's living room floor. He was darling. :) It was a fun date! Yay! :D

Brendan's main form of communication thus far...

Is SPITTING! And Ba ba ba ba ba ba incessantly. It's cute. :)

This first video is kinda long. He will do this with me for hours. Just sit on my lap and spit on me. :) It's fun. :) I think he thinks we are having deep conversation. He gets so into it. :D My arm is totally soaked by the end of the video. I'm glad Lamar caught him doing this on film.

Another short one of him constantly 'ba ba ba' ing...as if I can understand him! I just love how he uses his ENTIRE mouth and jaw flapping in the wind to make the sounds. And how he looks like an old man gumming on his missing dentures. :) It's so funny to watch! My little geriatric. :D He was getting really tired, so pardon his fussiness. I still think it's cute, watching him gumming like that. :D He SO wants to be able to talk to mommy!

Playing with Taylor

My friend Taylor, who is about to move to Provo to go to BYU and be in Young Ambassadors, came over after our show last week and played with Brendan. We got some cute pictures of them. Brendan LOVES Taylor! :) We're going to miss him SO MUCH!!!!

Surprise in the tub!

So...here I was, giving little man a bath....(See Rie? He does the same puppy thing Brody does...will keep that wash cloth in his mouth until I pry it out.)

When...SURPRISE MOMMY! OOPS!

EWWWWWWW YUUUUUUUUCK! Sorry if this makes anyone else squeamish...again with the squeamish posts. My apologies. But I had to share. This was soooo royally gross. We had to dump out the bath water, clean the tub, clean the baby, and start over with a new bath.

Trying to do the mohawk pictures in the fresh bath...

A short little video of him in the tub. He's growing up so fast!

I LOVE the post-bath towel look! It's my favorite part of the day...transferring him from the bath to the bed to get dressed. I think he looks freaking adorable in that towel! I love him!
I think he was trying to tell me he was getting cold... :D

Playing with Daddy

Lamar and Brendan were playing together last week while Mommy was in rehearsal...this video is SO cute and fun. I love how Lamar will leave me little voicemails with the two of them just a cackling away when I'm not home, so I don't miss out on too much at nighttime. My favorite part of this video is when they're both laughing. It's so precious to me. :) Brendan loves playing Peek-a-boo. Apparently he was laughing a lot harder than this before Lamar went to get the camera. :) Poor little guy was still so sick...I love my boys. :)

Gma Burden and Gma Karen came to visit!

Grandma Burden and Grandma Karen came to visit and see "Savior of the World"! They were only here for less than 24 hours, but it was SUPER fun! :) Little guy LOVED both Grandmas. Here are some pictures of him playing with them. :) Brendan is getting to be so much fun! :)

Savior of the World

Okay...so I wanted to share some fun picts from my production of "Savior of the World" I just finished last night. So sorry it's taken me sooo long to post anything new. Tech week plus performances didn't leave me much spare time. :) It was one of the most fulfilling spiritual experiences of my life. I loved learning/talking about the Savior every night for four months and then sharing my testimony through the production. It was so wonderful.

So...here are some pictures. This is a show picture a lady emailed me tonight. I LOVE it, even though it's a bit blurry. There are some more pictures of the same scene coming later, but I don't have them yet. One is AWESOME. I can't wait 'til this girl emails it to me! This is a closeup version...
This was after final curtain. We got pictures of me and my friend David (who played Christ). He was awesome. I'm recruiting him to join the SUV choir with us. Since I played Mary Magdalene everyone wanted pictures of the two of us together, so I have lots! :)

In our production the audience never sees Christ's face. WE were so lucky to see him every night onstage though...he's a spitting image of a Simon Dewey painting! My photos of him...

Isn't this a good one? :)
Brendan LOVES my friend Lisa! She has a baby a month older than Brendan...they are going to get to play alot soon. :) She is awesome. One night after rehearsal she had B LAUGHING so loudly everyone in the rehearsal was laughing too. She's a great lady. Her little boy actually looks alot like B.
This is a shot of me backstage with a little girl that reminds me SO MUCH of me when I was little. She's cuter though. Also with me is my friend from the SUV choir, Jared. He and his wife Tara are good friends with us. :) We were market sellers in this scene. We were about to roll out our fruit basket cart when they took this picture...
This is my friend Del Mario Doty, opera tenor extraordinare! He played Zacharias. He's such a wonderful person!
This is my good buddy Taylor! I've been friends with him since long before his mission, and since he recently got home. He's so talented! He played Joseph. He is me in a guy's body, 8 years younger. Seriously. We are SO ALIKE!!!!! He's my little twin brother.
Again with Jared and Dave. We've all become good friends. We're all going with our spouses to "Spamalot" next weekend. Very excited. :) We all have the same sense of humor.

This is our buddy Robin Hood, I mean Peter Pan, I mean Craig! (We weren't fond of his random costume LOL) He just got off his mission when Taylor did...the two of them are over at our house all the time. We LOVE them! We were so excited and proud of our boys when they went on their missions! : ) Craig is a sweetheart. Craig and Taylor are two of my best friends here in Vegas. Brendan loves them too...they're so cute with them!

This lady, Lila, played our Mary. I LOVE her! She's one of my new favorite people here in Vegas too. She's sooo talented and humble and sweet. AND she's so drop dead gorgeous. She was a great Mary. I love her!
More pictures to come later....there are a TON I don't have yet of the show! :)
