Easter weekend! We went and visited Ashley and Shoni for a couple of hours! And I had a coaching with the musical director for the SLC Conference Center production of "Savior of the World". It was much needed! She wants me to come audition for the SLC version this fall, but there's no way I could do it. :( But it was nice of her to say so anyhow. We saw Ashley, Shoni, Denise and Jared, and Josh - Ashley's new boyfriend. We had a lot of fun in a very short amount of time! Shoni let me take a ton of pictures with her camera since my battery died...grrrr...she'll be sending me those later...so I'll post those sometime soon. :D Here's a few she sent tonight...

We were sooooo happy 'cause we were able to see Nish and Jared! She's my best friend! They left their three kids at home with a babysitter. They loved seeing Brendan and we loved seeing them! It was their first time meeting eachother!
Quick story....at church today Brendan decided it would be perfect timing in the middle of the last speaker's talk to fill his diaper and then some. Lovely. Diapers are not equipped to handle such times I've decided. Sigh. So poor Lamar had to run out and change him 'cause I had to be up to sing with our ward choir any minute. (I WISH I'd taken a picture of him when we got home from church, but I forgot.) He lost his pants. Lamar brought him back into the chapel looking like a little "Risky Business" baby, with a nice church button down shirt and NO PANTS, no shoes, no socks! Just a diaper/onsie on the rear. I was laughing so hard I had tears coming down my face. Several people at church got a good laugh out of that one today. I was glad Brendan could make so many people laugh at church. Next time I'll bring a full spare outfit, not just an extra onsie. He spent all of Primary with me like that, making the kids laugh too. (Lamar taught Elder's Quorum today, so it was my turn.) Oh...and trying to take care of a hungry/sleepy baby while trying to be a primary chorister is NO FUN. Luckily for Sr. Primary today the lesson went way over and we didn't have time to sing, 'cause Brendan was a big sleeping sack of half naked potatoes in my arms by the end of church. It worked out. :D
Tonight...Brendan's first Easter basket....the candy was for Mommy and Daddy...but the stuffed duckie, play cell phone, and dutch apple baby dessert was for Brendan. And he liked the packaging the candy came in the best! :D
Opening the basket..........
He liked the cell phone a lot. :D Pretty soon he'll realize it's not black, doesn't have lights, and isn't as cool. But for now it'll do...(and maybe mommy will get her phone back!)
"Talking" on the phone....
Bedtime now...Brendan's first Easter. :D
